The project was constructed in two phases.

Phase 1 consists of renovations to the existing Concord Free Public Library and adjacent Heywood-Benjamin House, and a new addition linking the two buildings.  The new addition includes a new accessible entrance, children's library, community spaces and office space, and replacement of selected architectural finishes and millwork. All new MEPFP systems were designed for the addition and house. Work also includes demolition of portions of the existing house and outbuildings, as well as civil and landscape work.

Phase 2 consists of renovations of selected spaces at the existing library.

Our firm provided engineering services for Civil, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Data/Communications systems.
