James L. Mulcahey Elementary School located in Taunton, MA

The Mulcahey Elementary School is a new school building located on the North East portion of the existing school site to allow for ongoing use of the existing school. The new school will serve students in Pre-K through fourth grade and is comprised of a gymnasium, media center, cafeteria and associated kitchen, administrative areas, and support spaces.

We provided all phases of design through project closeout for HVAC and Electrical systems engineering. 

Our design included sustainable features such as displacement ventilation, pedestal mounted electric vehicle charging equipment, platform dimming and performance lighting system, automated lighting control system, and daylight harvesting.

LEED Certification is in progress.
