The New Squantum School is a new 80,058‑square‑foot, two‑story facility designed to replace the existing building while preserving a portion of the original 1919 masonry façade. GGD Consulting Engineers is providing full MEP/FP and Technology systems engineering for this high‑performance project, which features a ground‑source heat pump system, new electrical service, emergency power, and comprehensive plumbing, fire protection, technology, and security systems.

The school includes modern learning environments such as classrooms, art and music rooms, a media center, gymnasium, cafeteria, and administrative spaces. Site improvements provide new stormwater infrastructure, EV‑ready parking, and updated landscaping. The building is solar‑ready and achieves energy code compliance through the Passive House pathway.

The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be move‑in ready in June 2027.
