Renovation and addition to an existing four-story, institutional building owned by Boston University. The building will serve primarily as a daycare with offices for associated support staff.

GGD provided engineering services for Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical, systems.  A study of the existing systems was conducted which moved the project into the design phase. 

The design includes high-efficiency lighting systems, a distributed digital lighting control system, two-way communications call boxes system, fire alarm and mass notification system, air-cooled split chiller, energy recovery units, high-efficiency hot water condensing boilers, electric terminal heating units, electric point-of-use water heaters, water metering, and domestic gas-fired water heaters.
